Sahar heard the last of his explanation and sighed, knowing they were all about to go running off. "So long as you are back for the wedding," she told him quietly, kissing his cheeks since she was unable to hug him due to the twins.
Auraka nodded in agreement, knowing that had to do and help the lord. "Should we start sending them home? There is much to plan if we march tomorrow," he said quietly to Gem.
Faeron nodded, making sense. She looked a lot like that Nuala lady. "Cool," he flashed a shy smile, "did you want to...g-go for a walk in the garden?"

"Drannor tell them what we've decided on, for now thats all we can do. I have a plan but I need to talk to my parents about it before others know of it." He nodded. "I won't be long at all." with that he was gone from the room. Gem looked at Auraka. "I guess you ought to hear about this yourself." Now the leader in her would have to show itself and she knew it. Nuala would be gone as well, and Galan. The four best fighters were leaving never to be seen again tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully she would be able to use that to help Adurna. "While we all talk, let them stay here."
Ashlere smiled. "Sounds good to me. I have the feeling that things are not going to be good soon. Trouble coming by the looks of the others who were dancing here as well as my parents and Gem's."

Sahar sighed, watching him go and studied Auraka and Gem for a quiet moment before moving slightly closer. "Hey guys," she said sounding tired "I think I'm going to head home..the kids are asleep and I am tried." She gave Gem a awkward, half hug while she juggled the kids and kissed Auraka's cheek. "I'll see you later."
Auraka frowned, noticing she was struggling with the twins and took Taeron gently, smiling down at his big blue eyes. "I'll walk you home Sahar," he said, nodding to Gem "I'll be back in a moment."
Faeron smiled with barely concealed delight, taking her hand gently and tugging her into the garden towards the small, fish filled pond. He sat down on the grass, laying back and staring at the blue sky, patting the spot beside him as a gesture for her to sit. There was a moments silence and he shifted slightly, feeling a familiar tug at his mind. Who's that.... asked the voice A friend.. he replied, smiling shyly. Behave then... He sighed at her, she was always trying to mother him. Sometimes she was more annoying then the nurses! "So...Ashlere...what's you... favorite colour?" he asked, wanting to know more about her.

She nodded. "See you soon, I might talk with the others." Leadership was going to be needed now, and she knew that she had it in her, though it had always been dormant waiting for the chance to show again for her. She moved towards her parents. "Can I talk with you guys? You as well, Nuala, Galan." They all nodded, moving somewhere to sit at one of the tables. A lot of people were dancing now, so there was plenty of time to talk. For a few moments they talked about the message they had gotten and all agreed on a plan. "You tell us when to go," Laura said finally. "Best thing for it. if we have to time this, it will be needed." Gem nodded.
Drannor moved back towards the others, after having sent the message back to Adurna. He saw Auraka and Sahar walking and moved over to them. "You heading home?" he asked, looking at Sahar. "Let me give you a hand. You should be back with Gem, Auraka, I think she has something to talk to you about."
She smiled as she headed out of the hall. It was not likely that anyone would not know where she was, Gem always knew where people were. "Silver actually. What's yours?" she asked.

Sahar smiled as Drannor approached and Auraka nodded, having Taeron to him. "I know, just making sure Sahar got home safely first," he said and Sahar smiled her thanks. "Thanks Auraka...I'm not feeling to well," she sighed, waving goodbye and moved towards Drannor with yet another sigh. She didn't feel to well, though she had no idea. She felt fine that morning. "Let's get them home..and then you can return back to the meeting," she suggested.
"Sea green.." he blurted out, not even taking a second to think. It was the colour of her eyes, actually it had been blue until moments ago. Before he could embarrass himself further, another question came to mind. "Favorite animal?"

"I'll hear everything going on regardles sof where I am. I already know what was discussed, got a good look at it from Gem's head. I know where I am in all this," he said as Auraka moved out of earshot. "I do not have to go." he smiled at her, wrapping his free arm around her waist.
Ashlere smiled. She was good at reading people, but she did not use it to her advantage. That was something she was not meant to be able to do. "Dragons are actually. Especially silver day dragons, they look so beautiful in the dawn." It really was a pretty picture in her own mind. "Though I love Gaelira as well, seeing as she is the Sun Dragon."

Faeron's eyes went wide. "You have met Gaerlira?" he asked, staring at her in surprise. Most of the orphans had never met a dragon before, seen the odd one in the distance. But they never had a chance to actually meet one face to face, let alone the great Gaerlira.
Sahar nodded tiredly, feeling overcome by a momentarily dizzy spill. She lent against him, breathing deeply and tried to push the feeling away. "Lets get home," she said again, pulling away from his cool arms after a moment and toddled home with Kasinda in her arms. What was wrong with her? She was glad that Drannor couldn't read her mind anymore.
Auraka walked briskly down the path he came, heading back to his own wedding. He was glad Sahar was with Drannor, he didn't like how pale she was despite her already pallid skin. He entered quietly, not wanting to draw attention that he had been gone, and moved over to where the others were, kissing Gem's cheek and sat. Wondering what he was missed.

She smiled as he came back to her. It was obvious he had not travelled the whole way back with Sahar to her house. Drannor must have found them on the way back home. That was the only thing that made sense there. Things were going to be different tomorrow to what she had seen them to be. Laura and Zelphar and the others had moved back onto the dance floor, so when he joined her she was able to easily talk to him. “We decided on a plan of action. Remember how I told you I saw my parents and Ashlere's leaving never to be seen again after we're crowned tomorrow? Well we figured that seeing as Adurna's being threatened, that when a few of the elves go to help evacuate Adurna, they will as well. They will distract what ever is coming, while we get the humans out. For I saw that tomorrow the attack on Adurna will begin, around the same time we get there.”
Drannor chuckled. “Come on,” he said. Soon they were heading up the stairs of the house towards the front door. He unlocked it easily and headed in with her. “You don't look so good. Are you alright?” he asked. He could tell something was wrong at the moment. She was a little too pale at the moment.
“Oh yes, Gaelira's a wonderful dragon. I've flown with her too, that was a lot of fun for us, though I wish I had my own dragon. Not possible though for eight more years. Not till I'm twenty.” She hoped she would take after her mother. “My mother's one as are both Gem's parents.”

Auraka nodded, following her words as they made sense but paused. "Ashlere is going? Isn't she only 12?" he asked, surprised and not really wanting to risk the life of one who was yet to live. But it was her parents choice.
Sahar nodded, forcing a smile onto her face. "I'm...fine.." she said, blinking quickly and tried to keep her eyes open. "Just a...little off weather," she mumbled, heading up the stairs and into the twins room. She placed Kasinda down upon her cot, leaning heavily against it for a moment before turning and walking from the room, passing Drannor once more along the way. "I think..I'm going to go lay down.." she told him with a wave of a petite hand, tottering off towards their bedroom and collapsing onto their large bed.
Faeron blinked, awe still upon his features. Saying that in eight years she could be a rider meant that she was 12 years old, so he was only 3 years older. He shifted weight, not wanting to lie to her about Ani, but he had never told anyone. Trust came with time, not with hope. He wouldn't be able to live without his dear Ani. "Yeah...that would be cool..."

"No she's not going, Auraka. There's no way thats happening, we already decided against her going, though I know that she won't be happy about not being there to say goodbye to Nuala and Galan. She ahs all of us though and in the end she'll be glad of that." Gem smiled. "You forget that I owe these people. They hid me for a long time, and they knew who I was. They could have easily given me to Lindan Marcos, but they didn't. Now because they hid me, he's going to crush them." She sighed.
DRANNOR He sighed, walking with her for a bit of the move through the huge house. At least she knew the way around well now. Before it had been difficult for her, to learn these corridors. "Do you need anything?" he asked, as she laid on the bed. He knew that Gem was now aware what had happened here. She was not too worried though, so it wouldn't be anything bad.
ASHLERE "I guess, though the chance of it are slim. Not meant to be all that many wild dragons around anymore. Lindan Marcos hunted them to the brink of extinction. The only dragons we know of are the ones here, and the ones Gem has visions of," she replied.

Auraka sighed with quiet relief “good,” he muttered, hand running though his locks. “We will fight hard...they will fight with us,” he said, knowing how much harder loyal people would fight. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, knowing what she saw the other day and what would happen. “No,” she moaned, rubbing her temple with small fingers. “Just a headache...it shall go soon,” she muttered, half hoping it would. Clambering off the bed, she buried though her herbs basket and made some tea with a few of the herbs. “You can head back if you want,” she told him over her shoulder with a small smile “this should work...” Faeron nodded with agreement, actually having no idea what she was actually talking about. Gem, he knew was the princess and the one getting married today but he knew nothing of her vision talent.

"Things happen, and we can't do much to change them. If the time for fighting's come, well, its come." She smiled at him. "None of the younger elves are going to be doing any fighting any time soon. I would never risk their lives for this. Not for anything." There were some things to come which would not be all the easiest fo things to handle, but we would get through them.
Drannor "I'll be back soon then. I don't think the celebrations will last much longer over there anyway." He smiled at her. "I think things are starting to wrap up over there, but there is one last thing I have to do over there, then I'll be back." He sighed. "Back soon
Nuala She smiled and as the music stopped once more, people moved back to their seats. "I think its time for the toasts, everyone."
Ashlere sighed as she saw her mother getting everyone's attention. "Come and have a seat," she said. She moved over to the table she had been at. There was a spare seat there.

Auraka nodded, glad to a point. They needed numbers, and had more than enough riders it seemed. Lives would still be lost though, elves, humans and dragons and that saddened him. But that was the life, he knew, of a king and queen. You couldn’t help someone without hurting someone else. Sahar nodded to Drannor, a quiet sigh escaping her as he left somewhat glad for the silence. She knew he worried, he worried over every breath she took. A smile appeared at the thought, it was clear he loved her as much as she loved him. Drinking her tea, she settled back into the bed sipping it and sighed once more, the headache slowly starting to fade. Faeron followed her, unsure to where they were going and his eyes widened as she told him to sit beside her. But this was...there table. The princess and Auraka sat nearby, chatting quietly to each other. Ashlere’s parents sat across from them as well, her mother standing. Slowly, and unsure of himself, he sat beside her. As an orphan, he had never been so close to those of a high rank.

Gem smiled, falling silent as she saw her aunt move to talk first. "I think the first person who is meant to speak happens to my brother, King Zelphar." Nuala chuckled, moving to her seat as the older king moved over. "I don't really have much to say, though I know that you both do deserve each other's company. Though its hard letting you go, Gem, I know that Auraka will look after you. I know also that you can look after yourself as well." He then looked towards Auraka. "I also hope you have a lot of luck after you take over as king, son. We all know you have to be worth that place, else Gem would not have picked you. Trust her though when she sees things they may not seem important at the time, but in the long run they always are. " He paused. "So here is the toast i propose to you both." Pausing once more he said, " One Woman, one Man with hearts so true come before you to say I do...
A love so fair A dream come true A couple shares what they are destined to do
He takes her hand to have and to hold Their hearts embrace and never let go...
A touch so pure A smile so real She closes her eyes so she may feel
The love of one man The love of her life They join as one as Man and Wife."

Auraka flushed slightly, but smiled at the kings true words. In truth, they had both chosen each other. When he had fallen in love with her, no thoughts of being king were in his mind. He actually hadn’t thought about it until Gem had told him it meant he would be king. But he had been told, by everyone a hundred times over, that he would be a good king. A good leader for others. And yet, he had never seen himself that way. He would just do the best he could, knowing he would bleed for his people.
A smile danced over his lips at the words, the poem ringing true. “Thanks you...” he murmured softly, blue eyes sparkling.
