Auraka
He caught her as she slumped, resting her body upon his jacket on the icy stone floor. It was, even with the fire, freezing in there. Knowing it would only last for so long, he quickly worked upon her body. Stitching the deeper wounds, binding the smaller ones. Overall, she had over 100 stitches in her thin bodice. They were rough, but they would hold until they got to someone better. Maybe Sahar.
Finished, he sat beside her pulling her shivering unconscious body closer towards him for warmth.

She blinked when she woke up again, just as the snow started to fall past the entrance of the cave. Drannor had come back, and he had one of the deer with him. He'd put that aside though, out of the way. Gem turned her head slowly, looking at him, and then Auraka. "I didn't feel a thing," she said, though her teeth were chattering. She was so cold and it was not fair. Drannor though had changed form, and a big russet furred wolf sat watching the snow fall with keen eyes.

Auraka He felt her stir, looking down upon her chattering form and knew that his body heat wasn't enough, not even beside the fire. Green orbs looked around cold stone cave, trying to think of something. Then it came to him. There was something he could do. Pushing Gem away slightly, just encase something went wrong. He sat a small distance away, closing his eyes and sitting as if in great thought. A form with fur... that was all he thought. Honestly, he had never given much thought to what animal he wanted to be. So, he let them chose for him. He felt a tug, a inner tug as if he was being pulled into something else and opened his orbs. He was standing on the floor, tail flickering behind him. He looked down at the ground, surprised to see paws instead of his feet. Turning his long, maned head he looked at the rest of his body. A long, shaggy body. White. He looked like a lion, but he had never heard of a white lion before. He opened his mouth to talk, fangs bared which he closed in shock. "Odd," he chuckled, sounding more like a roar and padded over towards Gem, laying on the ground and wrapping his warm, furry body around her shivering form. "Never would of thought to be a...white lion?" it sounded like a question. Huffing and sigh, he rested his head on the ground and watched Drannor and the falling snow. OOC: Auraka: tehe

he stared at him as he seemed to change form completely. One second he was Auraka, the nect... a lion? Not only that, but a white one. She shivered though, knowing that she really was too cold at the moment. "Whho.. knneww," she stammered, completely surprised. Drannor turned to look though and there was a big grin on his wolfy face. "About time, Auraka."

Auraka
He chuckled, nuzzling the top of Gem's head and wrapped his long tail around her, trying to get her at least a little warmer. "Drannor, do us a favor and chuck us that jacket," he bobbed his head at the coat "she's so cold." He felt fine, but then again he had some thick white pelt on his shoulders. He was really worried about her, despite the wounds all being sealed. She wouldn't get any better without good food and warmth. He also felt bad about resting with her, leaving Drannor to stand guard. They could swap though, he thought, to make things far.

"hey, you, just keep your mind on keeping her warm. Unlike you, I don't sleep." He chuckled though, getting to his massive feet and walking over to them, carrying the jacket with him in his mouth unfortunately, unless Auraka wanted it to be dirty.
"Here." He handed it to her. I'll howl if I see anything worth knowing about."

Auraka
The white lion nodded his thanks, using his own teeth to tug it over the shivering Gem. "Thank you," he murmured to his friend, glad to have him with them. He shifted slightly, careful not to shift Gem as she tried to fall asleep and rested his head beside hers, eyes on Drannor as he stood just inside the cave opening. "Did you chose to be a wolf Drannor?" he asked suddenly, though quietly so not to wake Gem "I mean...did you chose it, or was it chosen for you?"

"I chose it." He smiled. "My father attacked me, and well, I needed something quicker than a bear." he chuckled softly. "A wolf always seemed quicker to me, I've seen a real wolf and bear fight and the wolf always wins." Drannor knew that it was a hard thing to deal with at times. "I think that he was expecting me to be a bear like him, but he'd have killed me if I was."

Auraka
He nodded slightly, studying the falling snow thoughtfully and sighed. He didn't chose a lion, he only wanted something warm for Gem. Not that he was complaining, it just seemed kind of...over the top. He laughed quietly to himself. He had always been a simple soul, choosing the more modest way of living. His family had been wealthy, rather wealthy but as him they had always lived simple. He opened his mouth, fangs out every time it gaped "do you know what my parents were?" He hadn't known his parents forms, actually he barely knew them before they died.

"I knew them, but not as well as you'd hope. I saw them fight once though, and your mother... she was a white tiger, your father was a black panther." Drannor smiled. "You seem to be taking after them in a way. Maybe they were watching over you when you thought about that."

Auraka
He bobbed her maned head, sighing quietly and then thought with amusement. "I wonder what Sahar would be...she still doesn't know," he snorted with quiet laughter "she would freak if she suddenly turned into an animal." He shifted slightly again, thick mane covering his eyes as he drifted to sleep. A snore leaving his nose.

"Be a good idea to tell her soon then, she's almost the right age." Drannor chuckled, then settled on his haunches for the long night ahead. He seemed to beomce stone, so he would not even think of hurting Gem any more than he had earlier. When they woke though, and he did as well, they found one thing they did not expect. A giant wall of snow blocking the entrance.

Auraka
The beady eyes sleepily opened, landing upon a world of white. "Ha," he said, looking around and feeling a light pressure against his stomach and looked down in surprise. Gem was cuddled into him, pressed into his furry stomach. The Gem bit was fine, he liked having her close..but fur? How the hell had that happened. Then it came back to him. He had changed! A white lion. Rare and odd. He chuckled and then turned back to the wall of white. That, he now remembered, hadn't been there the night before.
Standing careful, not to wake the sleeping princess, he approached the wall and Drannor. "Snowed in?" he asked, sitting on his haunches and resting a paw out to brush it. "Any idea how thick?"

She woke anyway, it was cold without him. She was feeling a bit better though.
"Maybe as thick as my head," the wolf replied. It was not something he was pleased about. "I didn't wake you because Gem was getting a little tempting."
"Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment," Gem herself spoke. "I am awake you know."
"Oops."

Auraka
He nodded, knowing that it was a problem. They needed to get back, as soon as possible. There was nearly no food in here, and Gem wasn't well. They needed to get her back. His eyes flashed over to Gem as soon as he sensed her stirring, full of worry once more as he paced towards her, nose nudging her pale cheek. "Morning love," he chuckled "sleep well?"
